I need a quick opinion from anyone who knows. I'm working on a bid list for
my school system (part of my job responsibilities). I've gotten bids on 2
student bass clarinets, one a Selmer 1430P and the other a Yamaha 220L
(which the teacher originally requested). The Selmer is about $170 less. I
don't know much about student level bass clarinets. Anyone know the Selmer
instrument? If anyone is familiar with both, how do they compare? Lawrie,
are you there?
