I've been using this case fro a few months, and it is indeed very light.
I still occasionally check to be sure my clarinets *are* in it before I
leave home! There are two small problems that require some care. One is
that mouthpieces go into their spaces *without* a cap - a bit dangerous,
but I've not had any trouble, and I'm careful given the price of those
Greg Smith mpcs! Also, the case closes with a zipper only, which is OK as
long as you don't forget (as someone mentioned)! I haven't dumped
anything yet (knock wood). For the first few times, the zipper works
*very* hard on the bell side of the case. According to my local dealer,
the case now comes with acknowledgement of this fact. I can tell you that
a week or so of careful closure on that side of the case and the zipper
works more freely. The case has a padded shoulder strap, and a foam
padded handle - very comfortable. I'd recommend one highly.
