Ditto on loud rock. I once brought my clarinet to a small practice
room, drums, bass guitar and guitar. The drummer had a HOLE in his cymbal
which was right next to my ear. I have hard core construction
worker/airplane noise type ear goggles (I used to ride a jackhammer) that
I brought to the next practice session.
