Sorry Laura, when I opened my mailbox today your second message
describing your playing experience didn't come up until the very end.
Anyway, I would get a hold of the Concert and Concert Collection put out
by Rubank. Most of the stuff is easy to intermediate. A piano book is
sold separately.
It sounds, though, like you don't have a TON of experience, so I hold
off on recommending some harder stuff to you. I think that the Concert
and Contest Book has some good stuff in it, and it's where I got my
first few solos. I performed Scene and Air and got Superior or 1
ratings at District and State Festival. It's one of the more difficult
pieces, but not too hard.
