It is a common experience that eating/drinking dairy products is
associated with increased mucus production. I have never found any
physiologically tenable explanation for this.

Milk has lots of lactose, and with lots of lactose, that can create
mucous which can stuff your nose and be irritating like hell to the rest
of your head and throat. Hope this helps, and keep subscribing. Let us
know if you need more help.

SNIP

This theory comes from the "new age" type medical crowd that maintains
that
dairy products including milk and cheese are mucous producing.

Actually, my mother once told me this when I was little, before all this
New Age stuff came along. I would like to see if it is really true or
does the milk cause any actual clogging of the sinuses. I am not
allergic to any dairy products, by the way. Are there any medical
doctors here to comment?
