Milk and milk products can certainly be a major culprit.
Also not to be overlooked (other than
lactose) is the whey , which is primarily in milk
but also in other products.
Some so called "milk free" things that contain whey can
produce surprising side effects.
If your problem is very severe it may be worthwhile to
have your allergist explore the possibility of other
food allergies that can trigger problems (if that
hasn't been explored already).
