You're right. I just checked my wife's Obie Ben and there is metal on
all tendons. Selmer does the same thing. I only wish Buffet would (1)
give us silver plate, and (2) put tendon caps on the basic R-13, as
standard equipment. My Yamaha 72CS's are silver plated, and I paid less
than $2400/pair.
