The Boosey & Hawkes is (or used to be - I haven't been there for years) at
295 Regent Street, right in the West End. Howarths have a shop which I
can't remember the address of - perhaps someone else has it. If you want
to go out of the centre of London, Michale White's shop is near the North
Ealing Underground station - about 3 minutes walk from it - and John Myatt
is a few miles out in Nightingale Road, Hitchin; again, his shop is very
near Hitchin railway station (you get there from London King's Cross main
line
station). These are *genuine* instrument shops, not manufacturer's
outlets. In London, there is also Bill Lewington's at the south end of
Charing Cross Road; I think the only clarinets they stock are Leblanc -
perhaps Yamaha too.
Yours,
Roger Shilcock
