You echo my thoughts precisely. I happen to dislike Drucker's playing
in general, but his Corigliano is far better than Stoltzman's -- which
is perhaps understandable because the piece is very mechanical and
machine-like, which is less suited to Stoltzman's musical personality
than to Drucker's. I, too, like Shifrin's Copland recording above
all others.
