Subject: Immer Kleiner (Oh no, not again!)

I have a question for those who have previously performed Immer Kleiner.
I already searched the archives and found the question, but not the
answer!

How exactly does one trill a G3 (left hand) and play the underlying
melody......

As one who seems to have made a career of playing this piece, here is
how I do it:
Try to keep the trill going, and just insert the other notes, in tempo
(take your time!). I accent the added notes a bit, too. Think of it as
a melodic line, with trills inserted. It takes a little practice.

As I have posted before, either you play the mouthpiece/barrel part out
of tune (as is suggested by the the arranger), or transpose that part
down a half step (with the shortest barrel you can find.... remember,
this piece was written for the German system clarinet, with its very
short barrel).

Good luck!
