Tony Scott is still alive and living in Italy I believe. You should
listen to his Music for Zen Meditation. Its very unusual. He manages
to make the clarinet sound like a shakuhachi. Remarkable sound.

I have a couple of his recent CDs where he is playing jazz again.
He's still playing great! I'll give you details of the CDs if you're
interested.
