These features *do* change with "smiling". This is the point of it.
Jonathan Cohler is normally on the list, but doesn't seem to have
contributed for a day or three. He knows plenty about acoustics and how
the player interacts with the instrument. However, so do some other
contributors -
mostly more than I do - though I hope what I write is valid as far as it
goes.
