Thanks Rob. Of the recordings I've heard, Stolzman being my favorite, I
think 120-127 has been the general consensus. I like the idea of the
slower tempo also because it does provide that contrast, and I try to
get up to 144. Also, I have been swinging the relaxed section, but when
I start to accel and finally reach 144, I go back to straight eights,
until "132" is marked again. Any thoughts on this? I've heard it
played swung and straight.

I have not heard the recording of which you spoke, but I'll look into
it. I'm really trying to hear a variety of interpretations as many
exist. Also, I've been digging around for a Goodman recording. Any
suggestions on which one might be the best? I;ve even heard, from the
Klarinet archieves, that his is not THE recording, but certainly it
deserves a listen, does it not?

Thanks.
