Rob,
I've been doing some intensive looking at the section at 296. The only
thing is that when I get it in the style I want it seems to end up
slower than m.m. 132. When I get it up to 132 I seem to want to tense
up and lose that "relaxedness". Is playing a little under 132 a major
problem? I am preparing for competition, so would this be a major
issue?
I love the slow section too; Copland must have really know the clarinet
because all the intervals are manageable, and I like the sound!!
Thanks for your help.
