Whoa, Gare! Good idea. Dang, I knew I forgot something. I'm in the
process of taking the keys off again. (Don't worry, I threw the two
extra ones away.) Since I live in the desert and it's hot right now,
should I use a 10W30 or 10W40 weight oil? Saving the bags is a great
idea that I hadn't thought of. I already knew about tossing the reeds in
the dryer, but my husband is starting to complain about splinters in his
socks. Do you put your reeds in a lingerie bag first? By the way, my
husband got rid of that annoying bump in the clarinet by putting it
under our refrigerator for the last half hour. I think I'm almost ready
for the oiling then we can re-key and check out the sound on this baby.
