If you are playing for a classroom (as opposed to an auditorium with
200-300 kids) the Stravinsky 3 Pieces works well, as does the Osborne
Rhapsody. Both are short enough for the AM radio attention span, and in
the 3 Pieces, you can ask the kids to describe what they hear in each
movement - sometimes the results are surprising!
