Subj: throat Bb fingering

While we're on the subject of fingering, I'd like to ask about throat Bb =
fingerings. My clarinet sounds *very* sharp on the Bb, and although I =
don't worry about it in rapid runs, for long notes I've developed a finge=
ring which uses the normal pinch fingering plus the first three holes (ye=
s, I play the A key AND the first hole at the same time). Now you know =
why I only use it in slow passages! Does anyone have any alternative sug=
gestions? I've tried everything I can think of.

Many thanks
