I would take the clarinet, if possible, to an experienced clarinet
repairman to determine whether it is wood or plastic. A clarinet is an
expensive instrument. If this person cannot be able to determine whether
the instrument is wood or plastic, and has had it for several years,
chances are he might not know much about the instrument itself, and there
might be other defiencies. YOU WOULD BE RIPPED OFF. I would purchase the
instrument from someone that knows it up - side down, therefore you would
have a better chance of not being ripped off, such as an experienced
clarinet repairman.
Hope this helps!
