Thank you! What a very interesting and well written post.

This has been an interesting topic, as I did not even know this drug existed
until reading it here.

However, while I just about pass out from nerves before important
performances, I will not persue inderal. I have come to look upon nerves as
an old friend - one who never lets me down by not showing up. :) I also
learned years ago to transfer the shaking in my hands and breathing to a less
vital area, namely my knees. The only problem with this is now that I use my
knees to hold my clarinet, I find I have to have my heels planted on the
ground so my ankles don't start to twitch up and down... I discovered this
the hard way once, and had to drop my heels down at the beginning of a solo
and then couldn't see the conductor. I was told later that it was the only
time I didn't rush it...
