I know what you're going through, Sarah. During my years of my first
Bachelors, I thought that music ed was the end all be all. Performing
wasn't my bag, but to teach and mold those young minds...well, things
didn't quite turn out as I thought they would. During my last years in
school, I found out that yes I would teach, but quite
accidentally that it would be choral conducting, not clarinet, although I
still love playing and hope to play in a few groups in the coming years.

I'm just saying, don't try to pin yourself down RIGHT NOW. You have lots
of time yet - enjoy it. You may find later in life that what you did want
to do is not what you want now (or in the future). Just relax, and
explore the many options that are there. Most of all, HAVE FUN. Isn't
it what these years are all about? I truly believe that some of the best
things in life are the unexpected ones.
