A long time ago, someone told me that a great way to deal with stage
fright is to imagine the audience naked. It doesn't work for me because
I either get very distracted or break into uncontrollable laughter.

Seriously, your primary audience is yourself, get inside your head and
play to please yourself. If you like what you do, the folks out there
in the dark will like it to.
