Must be you're getting old ;-). Seriously (sort of), bad lighting is in
the eyes of the reader. My 14yo son amazed me last year when we were out
comet watching one night. We were in what for me amounted to near total
darkness and he was reading a star chart we had clipped from the newspaper
to locate the comet. I couldn't even SEE the chart and he was READING it!
