Yehuda Gilad is a great teacher . . . . . I am happy to say that I will be
*priviledged* enough to learn from him in a few weeks as he will be my
teacher at Isomata, now called Idyllwild Arts Academy. Too bad that didn't
work out for you at USC, but I'm sure you'll be happy in Boston, as you could
probably do well anywhere.

P.S. - sorry for not introducing myself a month or two ago! I'm going to be a
junior in high school, I live in the LA area, I play clarinet, sax, and
flute, in that order, and I hope to be at the level as most of you folks
someday so that I can become a professional musician.

Gilad. He was my teacher for a while, but I only got $20,000 in
scholarships, so it was not something that I could have afforded.
Sometimes you just have to settle for less than the best.

P.S. Since I am not a perfect clarinet player yet, there is always
something that I can learn from someone. SO going to The Boston
Conservatory will not be a total loss:) >>
