Dee, can we clarify this,please? Am I right in thinking that you are ref=
erring
to liquid bleach, rather than chlorine powder such as is used in pools? =

calculations indicate that one cup of bleach in a full bath (c. 200 litre=
s, or
40 gallons) would be roughly equivalent chlorine concentration to that =

achieved by using water purification/sterilisation tablets (though this =
doesn't allow for the chlorine that may be added to your water by the aut=
horities before it gets to you. Either way, it seems to me that the amou=
nt of chlorine you suggest is well within the limits of safety either for=
drinking or for bathing in. Nick, of course, is right in saying that =
chlorine *can* burn - it's strongly caustic in its undiluted state - I =
just think that in this case, it's OK.
