I've used this stand for about 2 years. It is quite adjustable for height.
However, it may not be adjustable to a lenghth for tall players when
standing. I'm not always comfortable with the stabililty of the weight
lifter when standing for performance and usually find myself moving away
from it before too long. It's awkward to move or cue others with all of the
weight of the clarinet on the weight lifter. I do think that one can adapt
to this with a little time.

With all this in mind, I would recommend this to anyone not comfortable with
a neck strap or another device tried. Adjusted to the right height, it is a
very simple thing to use and quite effective - there is no longer any weight
on the thumb.
