I play a Vandoren-V12 3.5 on a "generic version" of the Vandoren B45.
(The B45s are $100 where I live.) The combination of the two have
improved my good tone enormously so I highly recommend it.

If you ever hear a flat clarinetist compared to your new sound, trust me,
you'll notice a huge difference in your favor. But you don't have to
have a extremely hard reed, just one strong enough to have a clear,
mellow sound that doesn't produce a squeaks or fuzzy notes. Your teacher
will know what I am talking about.

BTW, speaking of reeds, has anyone tried the new Grand Concerto reeds? I
have heard a lot of hype about them because they have 1/4 sizes and a
really great sound. I would like to know what experiences any of you
have with these reeds, as well as what a V-12 3.5 size would be in Grand
Concerto.
