Okay, this may be an incredibly stupid question, but does anybody know of a
"practice mute" for the clarinet? I was reading an article where it
mentioned practice mutes for trumpet and I thought that it would be cool if
I would be able to get one for the clarinet. I know that the clarinet and
trumpet are based on entirely different principles, where the air starts to
come out of the clarinet in the first hole that is not covered, whereas in
the trumpet, the air only comes out the hole in the end (as far as I know).
This may be a useless question, but I would benefit a lot if something out
there were available for clarinet players.

Worth a shot,
Ryan Lowe
