Neil,
For the poison ivy, you could try a commercial preparation of
Proctofoam-HC or Epifoam. These are lotions normally used on hemorrhoids
or on the peri-anal area after giving birth, but there's a topical
anesthetic plus HC in these. Try a small area first to be sure you're
not allergic to the product.
