Tell me, Craig, while we're on the subject of tuba playing, have you ever=
tried
the piece "Tuba Smarties" from Sky's 2nd album "Sky 2" (predictable name,
isn't it?) I believe the band wanted a tuba for some other piece, and =
the tubist
(sic?) only agreed on condition he had a solo role in one track as well. =
It sounds
like it would be really hard to get all the notes out - it's got lots of =
quaver/
semiquaver runs and staccato notes. I'd be interested to know whether =
(if you've
tried it) you think it would be a suitable piece for bass clarinet.
