Chad, you should probably get a couple of catalogs to
browse through - International Music, Weiner, Muncie, etc.
put out catalogs of musical instruments and accessories.
Clarinet neck straps are among them. I'd guess that
close to a third of the recitalists at ClarinetFest wear
them; I think Bob Spring wears one just to keep the clarinet
near him while doing punctuated deep knee bends :)

I have no idea what "sounds kind of gay" except for music but ...
there are special gold crayons for filling in the logos, again,
available in the catalogs.
