Hey Chad, I don't reply to this list often but here goes!
I have a clarinet strap, I guess I just bought it to look 'professional'
at first, but I couldn't believe the difference it made in weight wise! I
just did a revue type of show where I had to double on Tenor Sax, and with
three shows in the day of continuous playing, playing clarinet just seemed
like a joy compared to sax! The strap I have attaches itself to the thumb
rest, through a piece of leather with several different postionings along
the leather. (If that makes sense!). The strap itself is made o elastic
with velcro on the end to adjust the size. I can't tell you where to get
it in the US (I'm from Aust.), but most major music stores should stock
them!
