I own an Opus Bb, just got it a couple of weeks ago, I think there are a few
more things that drive the price up, and not all of them have to do with the
horn. First off, the case -- the Opus case has a leather cover instead of
vinyl, in the Leblanc parts catalog, that's $100 more than their vinyl one.
It has the adjustable thumb-rest which is a little more, has pad resonators,
the lefthand Ab/Eb of course, 3 tenon caps instead of 1, I haven't gotten to
compare it to the Concerto a lot, but it I know the wood is unstained and
maybe a little denser than on a Concerto, and mine came with 2 barrels. Is
it worth the extra money? I don't know, I got this one almost new for a real
steal and couldn't be happier with it.
