I don't think the price difference is just for the key. My bet is, if they
are supposed to be acoustical twins (which I don't recall), they cull the
very best from the inventory and add a higher level of keywork.

But! There is a list member who has owned the two of them... Kenneth Chin.
Ken? Any input on the issue?
