I just came home from the Clarinet Conference in Lubbock and I want to publicly thank Bob Walzel
for putting together a fantastic conference.

The conference was attended by a record 800+ clarinetist!! The general consensus seems to be that
these conferences just get better every year. I'm certain that there will be some follow up
discussion from other members on the list who attended. It was fun to put faces with names of
people on the list.

One fellow came up to me and said he was surprised I was so young (43), he thought I was some 75
year old man tapping away at my computer!!!
