As a former member of the ANSI X3H3.1 committee (computer
graphics) - Hear, Hear!!

I've come across tables, reaching for throats - and had a beer or
two with my "opponents" a few hours later (or, if I was in Silicon
Valley, a good bottle of wine). Scientific opinions, based on facts,
argued well, can cause blood to boil. As long as none is spilled ...
