Interlibrary-loan, one of the best ways to get the material
you need. The only caveat is that you need to know what you
want, and you must order it relatively early.

Many Universities ands major public libraries have their card
catalogs online. You may want to start with the Library of
Congress (httP;//www.loc.gov), the New York Public Library
(http://www.nypl.org) or the University of California/San
Diego interface to the UofCal libraries (http://roger.ucsd.edu).
