Ken--

In response to your questions to Mr.Jacobowitz and the list about music
schools with a performance/music administration double major, most
schools that have a music administration major do so at the graduate
level. Among the best schools offering an M.B.A. in the field are UCLA,
University of Michigan (M.B.A. and M.M. double degree only), Southern
Methodist University (M.A. only).

However, I believe that Florida State University has an undergraduate
degree option in music industry, as does University of Southern
California.

Since the majority of schools seem to offer a program in arts
administration at the graduate level, I would suggest completing
undergraduate studies in music augmented with business courses, and then
pursue an M.B.A. in arts administration second. I have looked at the
programs offered by many schools, including those referenced, and
because of the dual degree option, I thought that the Michigan program
was outstanding.
