In the situations I am thinking of the parent could not afford much, perio=

The kid just broke his/her 2nd mouthpiece, etc... you can imagine.

My point was just a reminder... old habits never die ........ I wanted to =
let
whoever know that before you invest in a "higher level" mouthpiece you sho=
uld
be warned of some realities.....(This way the mouthpiece has a chance at a=
n
extended life)... I'd bet someone is now more careful when they handle
their mouthpiece....I hope .....

Oh yeah, imagine the same thing when I talked about reeds, cause the kid
"practically ate them" according to mom, who brought a box of reeds a week=
ago.
