Subj: Improvisation (2)

I believe that what was said to me when I tried to differentiate the two
was that we "did not want to cloud the subject with alot of terms"
Personally, embellishment or ornamentation and improv are two totally
different things and I am not comfortable with calling turns, etc improv.
Please tell me if I am in error here but I think they are separate
entities. I am sure there are those out there (Dan and Craig) who will not
agree but I think the "improv" that is needed in pieces like the Mozart
are better termed ornamentation.
