I moaned at Dan last year (well before the heart attack) about
advertising a trip to some weird places (I forget exactly, but I think
it was somewhere in N America ... foreign, anyway ;-). He said, ah,
but I'll be coming to the centre of the universe _next_ year (i.e.,
1997). The man keeps to his word, you see: the heart attack was
plainly irrelevant.

Mind you, I'm a bit disappointed he's not coming to such a centre of
clarinet-ery and Mozart scholarship as Cambridge, but you can't win
'em all...

Hmm. Eeeenteresting.
