There was a thread a while back about the function and/or necessity of
conductors. I can't remember how long ago. Anyway, PBS has currently got
a show out about an orchestra that has no conductor. It's called Orpheus
in the Real World, and those of you in the Bay Area can catch it
Wednesday, July 2 at 11:00pm on KQED.
