Hello! A couple weeks ago there was a discussion about the
appropriateness of vibrato in the Copland and Poulenc. I am working on
the Copland and I would like to add a little vibrato to intensify certain
notes/passages. I am looking for any suggestions on how to practice and
develop a good sounding vibrato. I have a tendency to sound nervous or
out-of-breath when I try.
I love the Benny Goodman recording of the Copland. He has such a
NATURAL vibrato.
Thanks for any opinions, help, or insight!
Kelly
