Nah - misconfigured mail gateways are spewing this junk to the
outside world. The MS tnef stuff is just a base64 rehash of the
message that was sent.

This kind of junk should be stripped at the originating site, or
possibly stripped by the klarinet listserv (but it's a bit harder
to at the listserv end). You might want to let the sender of this
stuff know that it's coming out of their mailers; since *their*
mailers understand it stuff, it doesn't show up as a problem.

One of these days I'm going to put up a series of pages on sneezy
explaining the Internet, mailing lists, and mailers especially
targeting musicians - it's no harder than coordinating your fingers
all over the $%)(&$ clarinet keys :-)
