I don't particularly like Mime-encoded mail (who does want something
named after a lying dwarf who sings in German?) but I accept things
that are standards.
However, I'm left totally bemused by people who mail me things like:
> Content-Type: application/ms-tnef
> Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Things like this cause mail readers like mine to stumble, cough, and
generally waste my time. I presume the ms part of the application
type signifies microcruft: but what on earth is tnef? Is there some
vitally important information being sent me that I'm inevitably
losing?
