Before I bought my Leblanc I played a plastic Artley, I bought a quality
mouthpiece and ligature because at the time I could not afford a new clarinet
but wanted a better sound. I did get a better sound but a plastic student
model clarinet is still a plastic student model clarinet. The upside to that
is that when I did get my Leblanc I already had a quality mouthpiece and
ligature.
