Subj: Einstein; "Genius" Quotation

Dan Leeson gave us a very concise and knowledgable summary of who Alfred
Einstein was, which greatly extended the suggestion I gave, indicating that
he was best know for his writings on Mozart.

The person who originally mentioned the quotation, "Genius is 1% percent
inspiration and 99% perspiration", thought it was by Einstein (presumable
Albert). I said it was by Edison, but hadn't found my book of quotations to
verify this.

Dan Leeson indicated that the quotation was by Mark Twain. I still haven't
found my book, but stopped at the library and checked two references. Both
stated that the quotation was by Thomas Alva Edison, from a 1931 newspaper
interview.
