I don't wish to frighten you, but this was my first symptom of what turned
out to be myasthenia gravis, a neuromuscular disorder characterized by
muscle weakness. The second was a gradual loss of embouchure. I
know a trumpet player who had similar symptoms from the same thing.

It may be nothing. But if you notice any changes in strength, endurance,
vision, speaking, swallowing, breathing, or other things affected by the
striated (voluntary) muscles, see a physician.

BTW, I still play.
