The question was asked about thoughts on Sabine Meyer's recording of
four of the Stamitz recordings.

I think the recording is terrific. I'm not sure what Dan Leeson has in mind
about improvisation but this recording is full of it. I'm not sure whether or
not she actually improvises in the true sense of the word. I think that hers
are more planned out ahead of time. The things that she does fit well
within the style of the period and I think it's a terrific example of someone
taking a lesser concerto and turning it into something quite interesting
to listen to. The usual repetiveness is left out and the piece flows much better.

Those are my thoughts, don't know if they matter, but there they are.
