Not according to Einstein's daughter. While the two men were
born in the same town (Buchau am Federsee), went to the same
schools, and even sang in the same chorus, the assertions that
they were cousins has never been documented. There was a
reference to that alleged relationship in Grover's Dictionary
which will change it in the next edition as a result of my
letter to them. While it is, of course, possible that they
were cousins, the issue is one of proof. You know what they
say: everyone on the earth is related to everyone else by a
maximum of five degrees of separation. The problem is proving
it!!
