Yes, I did this in high school, too (1966). Assuming they are using the
same book, the woodwind parts are basically the same as a conventional
orchestra. The second clarinet book has one or two pieces that use bass
clarinet. When I did this, I doubled on bass clarinet, while I played first
on everything else. It was a fun show and I don't remember the parts being
especially difficult. At the time I was disappointed that we didn't do
something that required doubling on sax.

My high school is putting on a musical next year, and there's been some
talk of doing Oklahoma, although I don't think it's yet set in stone. I
don't know a *thing* about this musical, but I'm likely to be playing one
of the clarinet parts... can anyone tell me anything about it?
